SPLAT goes to Epcot

My last major event in Florida was spending the day at Epcot. Whoa, I had no idea how big this place would be! I had a full day here and I did not get to see everything, and certain parts had to be done quickly so that I could get the most out of the day. I got see highlights of the world showcase and had a great but exhausting day.

First up I got to go put my imagination at work. I have a pretty great imagination, and when I found out that Figment is a dragon I knew that this would be the perfect place for me.

The Imaginaruim is a ride / tour of how the senses work and how your Imagination can help. Then you get to go explore and try things out for yourself. Definitely a fun place to explore.

After we went on the tour of the building we were going to head out to explore all of the showcase. I pulled Figment aside for some good advice.

He was all ready to come with me and show me the sights, but he has a lot of work to do in his lab. Keeping imagination alive is hard work.

So off I went to the rest of Epcot. I wanted to try food in every place, but got full less than half way through. Have to settle for just sightseeing then.

There is so much to see, I got a little overwhelmed and all that walking sure makes you need a break.

So I hopped a ride for a little while on a donkey cart. I don’t think he minded too much. I got to see all of the world showcase, although I spent more time in some places than others, but half the day had passed and I had not gotten very far yet.

Like the sign says, I just had to carry on. Epcot has got to be one of the most unique places that I have seen so far.

At the end of the day I was really struggling though, it had been a long, hot day of non stop  walking so I hitched another ride.

The camel got me safely back to the exit and I left the park about 30minutes before they closed. Phew.
